As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a small team, developing business potential, and ensuring excellent customer service and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a small team to grow business potential
  • Ensure the branch operates effectively and efficiently
  • Develop relationships with customers and enhance the sales and customer experience
  • Manage day-to-day branch operations and team in order to deliver excellence
  • Manage team absences and deployment
  • Support regional teams with recruitment
  • Provide exceptional customer service and operational standards
  • Support training and maintain training records for branch staff

Person Specification:

We are looking for a hands-on, customer-focused individual with excellent sales and leadership skills. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Passion and energy to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve business targets
  • A customer-focused approach, happy to serve customers and proactively engage with potential future customers
  • A commercial approach to drive sales and maximise margins, whilst ensuring our customers always walk away happy
  • Good organisational skills, drive and leadership abilities to manage a branch effectively
  • A full and valid driving license is essential
  • Strong management skills and experience of leading a team
  • Experience within a similar management role ideally in a trade manager/builders merchant/retail manager
