Electrical Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Electrical Engineer to join our team in Doncaster. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- To carry out essential planned maintenance and complete necessary repairs to keep the factory in good working order.
- To provide electrical maintenance cover through effective and efficient response to plant breakdowns throughout the factory.
- To develop and implement process improvements throughout the factory, identifying new ideas and better solutions.
- To provide good communication skills to colleagues and production personnel to develop an understanding of machinery operation, enabling efficient fault diagnosis and rectification.
- To promote the development and implementation of the Factory IMS and CMMS system as a member of the engineering team.
- To apply rigorous application of TPM Tools and Techniques to generate Continuous Improvement throughout all areas of the factory.
- To support process improvement throughout the factory.
- To report to the Plant Manager to ensure all maintenance tasks are undertaken.
- A recognised engineering apprenticeship and qualification.
- Demonstrable knowledge and expertise in fault-finding and diagnostic skills on industrial plant and equipment.
- An understanding of PLC equipment and program editing, with the ability to fault-find and edit programs.
- The ability to design, draw, and read electrical diagrams.
- The ability to replace and program frequency inverters, motor controls, and safety circuits.
- A high degree of health and safety awareness.
