Renault Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Renault Vehicle Technician to join our team at Renault UK. As a key member of our dealership, you will be responsible for the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of Renault vehicles to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Vehicle Diagnosis and Repair: Conduct thorough examinations of vehicles to identify non-routine defects and additional faults, and undertake repairs and maintenance work in accordance with Renault's technical standards.
- Electronic Vehicle Health Checks: Perform regular health checks on vehicles to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance.
- Vehicle Road Testing: Conduct road tests on vehicles to diagnose and test repairs, and to ensure that vehicles are safe and roadworthy.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the service team to ensure that customers are kept informed of the progress of work on their vehicles, and to provide technical advice and support as needed.
- Customer Service: Provide a high level of customer service, responding to customer queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Technical Competence: Maintain a high level of technical competence through regular training and support, and stay up-to-date with the latest diagnostic and repair techniques.
- Quality and Safety: Ensure that all work is carried out to the highest standards of quality and safety, and that all vehicles are repaired and maintained in accordance with Renault's technical standards.
- Experience and Qualifications: You will need to be an experienced Renault Vehicle Technician with a relevant formal qualification (IMI/City & Guilds).
- Communication Skills: You will need to have good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information to colleagues and customers accurately and concisely.
- Technical Knowledge: You will need to have a strong understanding of Renault vehicles and their systems, and be able to diagnose and repair complex technical issues.
- Customer Focus: You will need to be customer-focused, with the ability to keep customers' needs and safety in mind throughout the service or diagnosis and repair process.
- Team Player: You will need to be a team player, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve common goals.
- Quality and Safety: You will need to have a strong commitment to quality and safety, with the ability to identify and report any safety issues or concerns.
