We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Services Engineer to join our team at Nuffield Health in Hemel Hempstead. As a key member of our Property and Facilities team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of our state-of-the-art fitness and wellbeing centre.
Key Responsibilities- Maintenance and Repair: Ensure the smooth operation of all building services, including electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
- Preventative Maintenance: Develop and implement effective preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Health and Safety: Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to COSHH regulations and guidelines, and ensuring all necessary safety protocols are in place.
- Team Leadership: Lead by example and inspire your team to strive for excellence in all aspects of their work.
- Communication and Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with colleagues, management, and external stakeholders.
- Pool Maintenance: Maintain the swimming pools and spas, including regular testing and chemical management.
- Reactive Maintenance: Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests and ensure all issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.
- Reporting and Administration: Maintain accurate records and reports, and assist with administrative tasks as required.
- Qualifications: Hold a qualification in electrical or HVAC, and have a 3 Day ISRM Pool Plant room qualification.
- Experience: Have previous experience working in a maintenance facility role, with a strong background in electrical and HVAC systems.
- Skills: Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Certifications: Hold an IOSHH qualification and have a good understanding of COSHH regulations and guidelines.
