Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing: Provide strategic direction for the procurement of goods and/or services aligned to corporate objectives.
- Category Management: Lead procurement category management projects to ensure continuous improvement and stakeholder value.
- Global Sourcing: Lead complex global sourcing projects to ensure continuous improvement and stakeholder value.
- Risk Management: Manage vendor risk and drive vendor innovation.
- Project Management: Lead large-scale negotiations and execute complex sourcing processes.
Requirements
- Leadership Skills: Demonstratable ability to guide and influence a wide range of senior stakeholders.
- Commercial Acumen: A commercially astute operator with strong data analysis skills supporting strategic procurement decision making.
- Sourcing Expertise: Sourcing based on real-time actual and forecasted demand.
- Negotiation Skills: Leading large-scale negotiations.
- Category Management Experience: Clear and precise project progress reporting skills and experience within category management.
- Quality and Compliance: Proven success in ensuring high standards of quality and compliance.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Willingness to learn Financial Services relevant standards, directives, and regulations.
What We Offer
£65,000 to £75,000 plus corporate benefits.
