Join Our Team as a Part Qualified Financial Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Part Qualified Financial Accountant to join our global team. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for Statutory reporting and VAT returns. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare UK financial statements and reports in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Manage VAT, EC Sales Lists, and Intrastat returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant VAT regulations across EMEA entities.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation and support during audits for all EMEA entities.
  • Prepare all required external reports, including PAYE Settlement Arrangements, Office for National Statistics Surveys, and work with tax advisors and the global tax team to prepare and file corporation tax returns.
  • Ensure accurate and complete reporting for areas of the accounts such as Lease Liabilities, Intangible software, including timely submission of trial balance reconciliations.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, including IFRS and US GAAP and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and drive financial performance.

Requirements:

  • Part Qualified or working towards CIMA/ACCA or other equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on external reporting and VAT compliance, ideally with some experience of entities outside of the UK.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
