Warehouse Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our team at Brook Street NMR. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of our products.
Key Responsibilities:- Receiving and Inspection: Unload, inspect, and accurately log incoming shipments of equipment, ensuring that all items meet our high standards for quality and safety.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate counts and timely restocking of products to meet customer demand.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring each item is handled with care and properly labelled to prevent damage or loss.
- Quality Control: Conduct thorough inspections of products to ensure they meet our quality standards, identifying and addressing any defects or issues promptly.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and packaging machines, adhering to all health and safety guidelines and company policies.
- Safety and Compliance: Maintain a safe working environment by following all health and safety guidelines and ensuring all operations comply with company policies and legal regulations.
- Communication: Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with the warehouse manager to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is preferred, especially in handling sensitive or specialized equipment.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and quality, with a keen eye for detail to ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and move heavy items and stand for extended periods, with a strong physical presence to meet the demands of the role.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to a positive workplace culture, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and demands in a fast-paced environment, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
- Basic Computer Skills: Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer applications, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
