Commissioning Engineer Job Description

Zebrec is seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical project delivery of systems as part of our Project Division.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Commissioning and testing of AV/VC systems, including client training and on-site work
  • Snagging of systems, completion of test schedules, and reporting to project managers and directors
  • Collaboration with divisional directors, project managers, and site teams to ensure seamless commissioning
  • Assistance with installation work, rack building, and system testing
  • Liaising with the technical team to confirm technical product specifications
  • Design and technical support for the technical and sales teams
  • Production of system testing and user documentation for projects
Requirements:
  • Highly organized with experience in a lead engineer, design, or commissioning role
  • Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • CAD experience preferred but not essential
  • Ability to read and understand technical documents and drawings
  • Strong and clear communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in a similar role with proven experience
