About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Chef Teacher to join our team at The Manchester College. As a Chef Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to our students, inspiring them to achieve their qualifications and develop their skills in the culinary arts.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver lessons that accommodate a diverse range of learning styles and abilities
- Work with teams of support professionals to ensure every student is supported to achieve their academic milestones
- Develop and implement engaging and effective teaching methods to promote student learning and achievement
- Contribute to the development of curriculum and assessment materials
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of the department

Requirements
- Qualified Chef Teacher with a strong background in achieving great results
- Experience in working with teams of support professionals to ensure every student is supported to achieve their academic milestones
- Strong communication skills and ability to relate your knowledge with passion and fun
- Ability to deliver lessons that accommodate a diverse range of learning styles and abilities
Working Arrangements
This is a part-time role, working 17.5 hours per week at our Harpurhey Campus. You will be required to work flexibly to meet the needs of the college and our students.
