About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Chef Teacher to join our team at The Manchester College. As a Chef Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to our students, inspiring them to achieve their qualifications and develop their skills in the culinary arts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver lessons that accommodate a diverse range of learning styles and abilities
  • Work with teams of support professionals to ensure every student is supported to achieve their academic milestones
  • Develop and implement engaging and effective teaching methods to promote student learning and achievement
  • Contribute to the development of curriculum and assessment materials
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of the department

Requirements

  • Qualified Chef Teacher with a strong background in achieving great results
  • Experience in working with teams of support professionals to ensure every student is supported to achieve their academic milestones
  • Strong communication skills and ability to relate your knowledge with passion and fun
  • Ability to deliver lessons that accommodate a diverse range of learning styles and abilities

Working Arrangements

This is a part-time role, working 17.5 hours per week at our Harpurhey Campus. You will be required to work flexibly to meet the needs of the college and our students.
