Design Engineer/Draughtsperson Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer/Draughtsperson to join our team at a leading manufacturing company in the Deeside area. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, utilizing your expertise in CAD design and engineering principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist project leaders in generating, reviewing, and maintaining 2D drawings using AutoCAD.
  • Produce and update electrical, mechanical, and functional descriptive CAD drawings.
  • Compile basic design level modifications and drafts from project leaders.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in CAD design, preferably using AutoCAD 2D or 3D.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Flexible, versatile, self-motivated, and results-focused.
  • Knowledge of drawing changes procedures and revision control, as well as basic understanding of Quality Management Systems (ISO9001).
What We Offer:

Competitive hourly rate up to £18, with a good chance of the role becoming permanent. Reporting to the Projects Department Manager, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and develop your skills in a dynamic and supportive team.
