About the Role

We're looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Cafe Front of House Team Member to join our team at Tesco. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience for our customers.

As a Cafe Front of House Team Member, you'll be responsible for:

  • Serving customers quickly, efficiently, and with care.
  • Resolving customer complaints and relaying information to the Cafe Manager.
  • Maintaining food freshness by following first-in, first-out (FIFO) stock rotation.
  • Adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations while keeping daily records.
  • Accepting deliveries and handling the safe storage of food.
  • Being aware of and following all operational policies and procedures.
  • Clearing and sanitizing tables to maintain a clean environment.
  • Making sure we maintain our standards and all food products are available.
  • Staying up-to-date with business communications and exciting new initiatives.
  • Knowing our cafe's menu inside out and serving food as intended.
  • Preparing hot and cold drinks for customers.

You'll Need

  • A commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety standards.
  • The ability to work efficiently and maintain a clean environment.
