Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Class 1 driver to join our team at Evri. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across the UK, ensuring timely delivery and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive HGV Class 1 vehicles on long haul routes, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of goods
- Collect and deliver parcels, updating paperwork as necessary
- Assist depot staff with heavier items and provide support with tail-lifting
- Meet and exceed customer expectations for delivery and service
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence with HGV Class 1 entitlements
- Driver's CPC and digital tachograph
- Excellent communication and safety skills
- Reasonable physical fitness
What We Offer:
- Competitive hourly rate of £15.94 with overtime rate of £23.91
- 32 days' annual leave (including Bank Holidays)
