We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a fantastic Primary School in Towcester, Northamptonshire. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the school's mission to provide a high-quality education for all students, particularly those with Special Educational Needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the class teacher in delivering lessons and providing individualized support to students with SEN
  • Assist with the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with SEN
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to students with SEN, promoting their social, emotional, and academic well-being
  • Collaborate with the teaching staff to identify and address the needs of students with SEN
  • Contribute to the creation of a positive and inclusive learning environment that values diversity and promotes equality

Requirements
  • Experience working as a TA/SEN TA/LSA in a UK Primary/Secondary School, or a CACHE Level 2 qualification or a recent graduate with a passion for education
  • Ability to inspire, engage, and progress students from all backgrounds and ages
  • Understanding of SEN and a desire to work with Special Needs pupils
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday between 8:30am and 3:30pm
