Job Title: 2nd Line Network Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team at In Technology Group Limited. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Network Design and Implementation: Design and implement network solutions aligned with organizational needs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deploy and uphold network infrastructure.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Identify and resolve network issues efficiently, delivering timely and effective support, and conducting thorough root cause analyses and implementing preventative measures.
  • Security Oversight: Implement and uphold security measures to safeguard network infrastructure, monitoring and responding to security incidents and potential vulnerabilities.
  • Performance Enhancement: Proactively monitor network performance, pinpoint bottlenecks, and optimize the network for maximum efficiency, recommending and implementing improvements.
  • Documentation Maintenance: Keep precise and current documentation of network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines, facilitating knowledge transfer within the team.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams and departments, understanding their network requirements and delivering tailored solutions.

Requirements:

  • Education: Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Possess a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in network engineering roles, demonstrating expertise with Cisco and Juniper networking equipment.
  • Certifications: Hold industry certifications like CCNA, CCNP, or JNCIA, which would be highly advantageous.
  • Technical Skills:
    • In-depth knowledge of routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, etc.).
    • Experience in configuring firewalls and implementing security protocols.
    • Familiarity with network monitoring tools.
    • Proficiency in troubleshooting network hardware and software.
