We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior/Principal Hydrogeologist to join our Water Management Consultancy team at AtkinsRéalis. As a key member of our groundwater resources team, you will play a crucial role in leading projects and developing trusted client relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Lead groundwater projects from problem definition to delivery, ensuring high standards of performance and influencing project development.
- Undertake hydrogeological assessments and work collaboratively with the Water Management Consultancy team on a range of projects, including water supply, strategic planning, resource optimization, and environmental assessment.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Mentor and support junior staff, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices within the team.
- Chartered status through a relevant professional body, with a degree in science, engineering, or mathematics and a post-graduate qualification in hydrogeology or a related subject.
- Substantial experience as a hydrogeologist in consultancy, water company, regulatory, or academic fields, with a strong understanding of UK hydrogeology and the environmental and regulatory framework of UK water management.
- Proven ability to lead projects through the project life-cycle, with excellent numerical, analytical, report-writing, and presentational skills.
- Valid full UK driving license.
