Veterinary Surgeon
We are seeking a skilled and confident veterinary surgeon to join our team on a full-time night shift basis. Our client offers a fun, relaxed, and friendly working environment where our vets are free to make their own decisions in relation to care offered.
Our client has two vacancies across two of their practices, one at the main hospital with cover in a branch and one as lead vet wholly within one of their branches which is rapidly growing.
The practices are well-equipped to offer an excellent first opinion service, with digital x-rays, brand new ultrasound, endoscopes, separate cat and dog ward, etc.
We are flexible over hours, with full-time being a five-day week working 9-6. Our client is out of the door shortly after 6pm every night, with Saturdays only 1 in 5 and they are open. They can consider shorter weeks too, with their OOH's outsourced and a policy where any last-minute client turning up ad-hoc are sent to the OOH's provider.
The role in the rapidly growing branch would suit a surgically minded vet as the other vet is a medical, consult-only vet. This role would suit a vet comfortable with most routine surgeries, most likely a very confident 2-year plus vet.
The role in the hospital could be for a vet requiring a little more support, but as they have a very recent graduate, a minimum of 18 months experience is really required.
We offer a competitive package dependent on experience and skill level, with 28 days holiday including bank holidays.
The following locations are all within 30 minutes drive of the main hospital:

- Esher
