Job Title: Extended Day Worker

Islington Council is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Extended Day Worker to join our team. As an Extended Day Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children aged 5-11 in our extended day provision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging activities that meet the children's developmental needs and stimulate their learning.
  • Work in a flexible manner to provide extended day services as directed by the Extended Day Coordinator during Breakfast Club, running morning and after school clubs, and in Night Owls (after school provision).
  • Support learning, celebrate cultural diversity, provide opportunities for physical activities and sports, and promote the arts, drama, and music.
