With a significant increase in business activity, our company has experienced a fourfold growth in turnover over the past four years, particularly within the construction sector, which is expanding at an even more rapid pace. This presents numerous opportunities for a driven Tender Management Specialist.
Department Overview:Our Construction Division manages a wide array of projects, with a considerable volume of work stemming from educational funding initiatives. The project portfolio encompasses competitive tender submissions in the education sector, including fire safety compliance, building envelope refurbishments, structural repairs, mechanical and electrical upgrades, as well as comprehensive refurbishments and new construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the team to finalize the technical documentation for all tender submissions, focusing on high-stakes projects, including educational facilities valued up to £10 million annually.
- Oversee the Bid Library, ensuring that all content is current and relevant.
- Coordinate with various departments, such as Health & Safety, to collect essential information for bid preparation.
- Engage with estimators and surveyors after reviewing the tender or visiting project sites to gather necessary data for the technical documentation prior to pricing.
- Manage the tender schedule, keeping an organized list of projects and submission deadlines.
- Compile case studies and manage references, ensuring timely communication with clients as deadlines approach.
