About the Role:
Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a skilled Site Service Engineer to join their team. As a Site Service Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing boilers, pressure valves, piping, and compressed air supplies across the site.
Main Responsibilities:
- Time served in a factory services environment or equivalent experience.
- Good fault finding and testing skills.
- BOAS or equivalent training in boiler operations, experience working with steam boilers, boiler water treatment, and water softening plant is desirable.
- Experience in NDT preparation for testing of pressure vessels.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid BOAS or equivalent certification.
Working Environment:
The successful candidate will be based at one of our client's sites, working a standard Monday to Friday schedule. The role will involve working at heights, in confined spaces, and in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
