Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Field Services Engineer to join our team at Bowdon Associates Ltd. As a Field Services Engineer, you will be responsible for installing and commissioning new machinery, performing routine maintenance, and troubleshooting issues with commercial laundry equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation and Commissioning: Install and commission new machinery, ensuring it is functioning correctly and efficiently.
  • Routine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on all customer equipment, including planned maintenance and repairs.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot issues with customer equipment, identifying and resolving problems quickly and efficiently.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, working with customers to prioritize workloads and maximize production.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, ordering spare parts as needed and maintaining stock locations.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience working on commercial manufactured equipment or FMCG.
  • Qualifications: Engineering qualification (NVQ level) and electrical testing and logical fault-finding processes.
  • Skills: Good problem-solving and diagnostic skills, able to work in a high-pressure environment.
  • Laundry Experience: Laundry experience is desirable.
