About the Role
We are seeking a visionary ESG Manager to lead and enhance the ESG strategy for Dains Accountants, a leading accountancy firm in the UK and Ireland.
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to develop and implement successful ESG initiatives, inspiring and influencing both internal and external stakeholders to drive business growth and sustainability.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive ESG strategy that aligns with the firm's business objectives and sustainability goals, ensuring the integration of ESG factors into corporate policies and practices.
- Engage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote ESG initiatives, fostering strong relationships with industry peers, regulatory bodies, and community organizations to enhance the firm's ESG profile.
- Oversee the preparation of ESG reports, ensuring compliance with national and international ESG standards and regulations.
- Design and deliver training programs that educate employees at all levels about the importance of ESG principles and their role in the firm's sustainability efforts.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and innovations in ESG practices, implementing best practices and cutting-edge solutions to enhance the firm's ESG performance and leadership in the industry.
Your Qualifications and Experience
- Extensive knowledge and practical experience in developing and managing ESG initiatives within a corporate setting, with expertise in sustainability practices, carbon tracking processes, regulatory compliance, and ESG reporting frameworks.
- Strong strategic planning abilities with experience in implementing comprehensive ESG strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and influence stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
