About the Role:

This Maintenance Technician position is with a leading chemical manufacturing company specializing in the production of synthetic resins. The main purpose of a Maintenance Technician is to ensure the safe and continuous production of the plant by swiftly responding to any equipment failures and implementing an effective preventive maintenance program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To resolve any unplanned breakdowns in a safe and expedient manner.
  • To provide service and repairs of plant equipment where necessary.
  • To test and calibrate equipment to quality control specifications.
  • To respond to required corrective and preventive action in a timely manner.

Requirements:

To be successful in this position, the right candidate must have a practical hands-on attitude and a desire to work alone or as part of a team to improve company processes.
