Senior Quantity Surveyor Opportunity

Ernest and Florent, a forward-thinking fit out contractor, is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their successful team in the Midlands. This role offers a unique blend of challenge and opportunity, with a strong focus on commercial management and project delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quantity surveying and commercial management, with experience in managing projects within the retail and leisure sectors. A proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget is essential, as is the ability to lead and support junior quantity surveyors.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing pre-construction, tendering, and delivery, with a strong focus on contractual and payment knowledge. They will also be expected to work closely with the commercial director and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

The requirements for this role include:

  • 8+ years of experience in a quantity surveying and commercial management position
  • Experience with a variety of contracts, including JCT, D&B, and NEC
  • Experience with fit out projects, particularly in the retail and leisure sectors
  • Ideal experience in supporting and managing junior colleagues
  • Experience with retail and leisure projects

In return, Ernest and Florent offers a competitive salary of £70,000 - £80,000, plus a bonus scheme.
