Job Role

As a Senior Service Charge Accountant at Mainstay, you will play a crucial role in delivering accurate financial statements and records to our customers. Your expertise will ensure timely and accurate Estate Finances, supporting operations in communicating and understanding service charge.

Main Responsibilities
  • Prepare and distribute Service Charge accounts accurately and on time
  • Develop and distribute property budgets with precision
  • Liaise effectively with auditors to deliver a seamless audit process and provide the best possible outcome for our customers and clients
  • Proactively collaborate with managers and auditors on areas of concern, ensuring clear action plans for resolution
  • Contribute positively and effectively to the team through creative ideas, tested processes, or feedback from colleagues and external parties
  • Support the operations team as needed
  • Analyze monthly balance sheets
  • Some travel to developments may be required in this role

Requirements
  • Work towards a professional qualification (AAT / ACCA) would be an advantage but not essential
