Production Planner Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Planner to join our team at Nicholas Associates. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating the production process to meet the demands of our multinational customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement short-term and long-term capacity plans to ensure efficient production.
  2. Sequence production requirements to meet customer demands and optimize material usage.
  3. Forecast material requirements and manage inventory levels to minimize stockouts and overstocking.
  4. Collaborate with the production and warehouse teams to prioritize production, manage material availability, and optimize stock levels.
  5. Serve as the primary point of contact for multinational customers, resolving issues and prioritizing orders effectively.
  6. Communicate with customer planning teams to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is shared, fostering a positive and collaborative working relationship.
Requirements:
  1. Essential experience with SAP software.
  2. Strong production planning skills.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  4. A keen eye for detail and ability to analyze and challenge data.
