As a Bus Driver with First Bus, you will be responsible for providing a safe and reliable transportation service to our customers. You will be working on a variety of routes, including morning, evening, and weekend shifts.
Key Responsibilities- Drive a bus safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that all passengers have a positive experience.
- Conduct regular vehicle checks to ensure that the bus is in good working condition.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other drivers to ensure smooth operations.
- Valid PCV license and up-to-date CPC.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- A competitive hourly rate of £14.50 for trainees and £16.00 for experienced drivers.
- A £3,000 bonus for qualified drivers who have not worked for First Bus in the last 12 months.
- Free travel on our buses for you and your family.
- £6 all-day train travel for you and your family on Great Western Railway, South Western Railway, Avanti, Hull Trains.
