About the Role

As a Bus Driver with First Bus, you will be responsible for providing a safe and reliable transportation service to our customers. You will be working on a variety of routes, including morning, evening, and weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a bus safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that all passengers have a positive experience.
  • Conduct regular vehicle checks to ensure that the bus is in good working condition.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other drivers to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
  • Valid PCV license and up-to-date CPC.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
What We Offer
  • A competitive hourly rate of £14.50 for trainees and £16.00 for experienced drivers.
  • A £3,000 bonus for qualified drivers who have not worked for First Bus in the last 12 months.
