About the Role

Lavish Alice is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Garment Technologist to join our team at our Northern Head Office in Manchester. As a key member of our Technical Department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our garments, from design to production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement technical specifications for garment production, ensuring compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Design Team to create technical packs, including grading and marking instructions, to ensure accurate and efficient production.
  • Conduct wearer trials and provide feedback to the team on garment fit, quality, and functionality.
  • Manage testing programs, working closely with suppliers to ensure compliance with company requirements and expectations.
  • Review test reports and action approvals, suggesting follow-up actions as needed.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of garments.
  • Monitor returns reporting, customer feedback, and quality control, and proactively resolve issues that arise.
Requirements
  • At least 10 years' experience as a Garment Technologist, with 5 years' experience in a senior role.
  • Proven track record of ensuring high-quality garment production, with a focus on attention to detail and quality control.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience in garment design and production software.
