Trainee Engineering Surveyor

We are seeking a motivated and ambitious individual to join our contracting division as a Trainee Engineering Surveyor. Based at our head office in Uttoxeter, you will work alongside experienced engineers and technical experts using the latest technology and software to develop key skills in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the engineering team in assessing information, including topographical surveys, cut/fill assessments, and technical drawings, using software such as AutoCAD and 3D terrain modeling.
• Learn engineering principles and techniques to survey, quantify, and assist in upcoming and ongoing projects.
• Work with the estimating team to provide calculations and value engineering, and assist in producing detailed, accurate, and professional drawings, reports, and quantities of completed works.
• Collaborate with the site team, heavy machinery operators, and site managers to understand construction methods and land remediation.
