Job Summary:
Alexander Steele Recruitment is partnering with a leading food manufacturer to fill an exciting opportunity for an NPD Process Technologist in their West London facility.
About the Role:
As an NPD Process Technologist, you will play a crucial role in the development and launch of new food products. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth transition of products from concept to market launch, coordinating with various teams to meet deadlines and manage resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with operations and production teams to plan and execute production trials, ensuring timely completion and adherence to schedules.
- Coordinate pre-production and launch preparations, ensuring all necessary documentation and samples are in place.
- Accurately document settings for all machinery and maintain up-to-date product manuals.
- Work closely with technical, commercial, and operations teams to ensure products meet agreed specifications.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of samples.
- Document and photograph products, maintaining accurate records in product manuals.
- Collaborate with the technical team to establish effective processes for full-scale production.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role within a food manufacturing environment.
- Food science degree or equivalent.
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
- Food Safety and HACCP qualifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work varied hours to meet deadlines.
