Key Responsibilities

As a Financial Accountant, you will be instrumental in advancing the future of renewable energy in the UK. Your duties will encompass:
  • Collecting and analyzing data to generate precise reports for budgets, forecasts, and monthly management accounts, adhering to strict timelines.
  • Assisting in the preparation of statutory financial statements, including accompanying notes and addressing audit inquiries.
  • Coordinating with various service providers for numerous tasks (group funding requests, quarterly VAT submissions, tax returns, branch returns, statutory accounts, legal and board obligations, etc.).
  • Ensuring timely cash calls are executed based on interests in each entity and joint venture, along with accurate reporting of joint venture billing.
  • Supervising and managing the month-end closing process, which includes reviewing and preparing accruals and cost allocations.
  • Acting as the primary contact for all joint venture matters, preparing monthly management accounts, leading finance committee meetings, and ensuring timely execution of agreed actions.
  • Facilitating the execution, confirmation, and settlement of CFDs and other energy derivatives.
  • Conducting daily cash management tasks, including processing outgoing payments, recording incoming cash transactions, and analyzing daily cash positions.
  • Assisting with special projects.
  • Exhibiting exemplary conduct regarding H3SE and enforcing H3SE regulations and requirements within your scope of responsibility.
