Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, Elizabeth Swan, this role involves:
- Coordinating monthly closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Conducting routine analysis of accounts, reviewing transactions, and collaborating with both internal management and external partners.
- Evaluating existing processes to identify opportunities for enhancements, ensuring adherence to best practices and robust internal controls.
- Preparing balance sheet entries and performing reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly group financial reports.
- Utilizing financial data to create and document general ledger journal entries.
- Supporting the external audit process by engaging with auditors and supplying necessary documentation.
- Conducting monthly stock reconciliations, including the reconciliation of JDE, PRMS, and REX systems.
- Monitoring and supporting monthly foreign exchange hedging activities.
- Providing ad-hoc business support as required.
