About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust as a Therapeutic Radiographer Apprentice. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our radiotherapy services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gain knowledge and experience in all aspects of radiotherapy service delivery, including patient care, pre-treatment and planning, treatment calculations, and provision of precise radiation treatment regimes.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of treatment plans and quality assurance of treatment plans and equipment.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our radiotherapy services and patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • GCSE Grade C or 4 or equivalent for Maths, Science, and English (with certification) / UCAS points: 112.
  • Basic understanding of what Radiotherapy is and how it impacts cancer patients and their diagnosis and prognosis.
