About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Labcorp. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, fault finding, and installation work on mechanical and electrical building services and associated equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate as a member of an integrated maintenance team.
  • Use a wide range of mechanical and electrical services tools and machines.
  • Read mechanical and electrical services drawings and schematics.
  • Use fault finding procedures and equipment manufacturers manuals to trace and rectify faults.
  • Operate and repair steam boiler plant and associated steam services.
  • Undertake water treatment tests.
  • Operate, inspect, and repair hot water heating systems and hot and cold domestic water systems.
  • Repair, install, and fault diagnose electrical equipment and installations in line with current regulations.
  • Operate, inspect, or repair compressed air plant and installations, pumping, and extract systems.
  • Work on drainage systems.
  • Weld with either gas or electric.
  • Install copper, plastic, or steel pipes, using any appropriate jointing technique.
  • Calibrate and commission equipment to standard operating procedures.

Requirements
  • BTEC, City & Guilds, or Apprenticeship required in Maintenance, Electrical, or similar field.
