Biology Teacher Job Opportunity

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a skilled and dedicated Biology Teacher to join our team in a secondary school in Cardiff. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong background in biology.

Job Details
  • Job Title: Biology Teacher
  • Location: Cardiff
  • Hours: Full time, 5 days per week
  • Pay: £160.00 per day minimum
Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching biology to Key Stage 3 and 4 students, as well as delivering GCSE classes. They will also be expected to prepare lessons, plan schemes of work, and engage students with both classroom and lab-based activities.

Requirements
  • Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status or overseas equivalent
  • Experience: At least 1 year science teaching experience (exceptions made for NQTs)
  • Registration: Registration as a Teacher with the EWC (the Education Workforce Council) - we can help you with this
  • References: References covering the last two years (no gaps)
  • DBS: Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
  • Right to Work: The right to work in the UK
