Job Title: Head of HR Business Partnering

As a key member of the Hays Human Resources team, we are seeking an experienced Head of HR Business Partnering to lead and inspire our People Services & Partnering function. This is a unique opportunity to develop a high-performing team and drive credibility with the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the People Partners to develop and embed a strategic business partnering model, collaborating with business leaders and their teams to deliver priorities through effective People Planning.
  • Utilize expert Employee Relations to review and enhance the Employee Relations capability within the People Directorate, ensuring practices, policies, and ways of working are fit for purpose and up to date with employment legislation.
  • Work with the People Directorate Management Committee to evaluate and improve the employee experience by developing and implementing policies, procedures, and practices aligned with the People & Culture Strategy and values.
  • Lead the review of existing HR systems and technology in collaboration with the People & Culture Strategy Programme, recommending improvements including digital solutions that support the strategic People agenda.
  • Drive credibility with the business and deliver an excellent customer experience to all staff.
  • Experience of leading an Employee Relations team and providing professional employment law advice.
  • Demonstrable leadership and management experience, including improving policies and procedures to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Experience of designing, developing, or contributing to People strategies and translating strategy into action through team performance and objectives.
