We are seeking a dedicated Supervisor to join our client's team in Essex, working on various projects throughout the region. As a key member of the Major Schemes team within the Construction department, you will be responsible for supervising subcontractors, ensuring safety, quality, and environmental standards are maintained, and keeping detailed records of site activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise allocated works to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Ensure all projects comply with Health and Safety Regulations and CDM requirements.
  • Follow Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality Procedures at all times.
  • Review Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and COSHH.
  • Complete Site Inductions and issue Permits to Work.
Job Requirements:
  • Experience working in the construction industry, preferably in Highways.
  • Proficient in the supervision of Civil Engineering Construction sites.
  • Preferred qualifications: NRSWA, SSSTS/SMSTS, CSCS, Temporary Works Supervisor, First Aid at Work.
  • Experience in undertaking construction work near Underground Services preferred.
  • Experience in the supervision or operation of Traffic Management preferred.
