Position Overview:
We are seeking skilled individuals for the role of Food Production Operative to support our esteemed client in the food manufacturing sector.
Location: Nantwich
Working Hours: Flexible shifts available, including early morning and late-night options.
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate of £11.44
Requirements:
- A valid driving license and access to a vehicle are necessary due to the location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform heavy lifting tasks, handling weights up to 25kg.
- Engage in packing food items along the production line.
- Prepare cheese by grating and slicing.
- Manage labeling tasks, including printing and applying labels.
- Rotate through various production departments as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the factory and personal workspace.
- Collaborate effectively within a team while also being able to work independently.
- Adapt to working in both chilled and warm environments based on departmental requirements.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Prior experience in food production roles.
- A solid understanding of food hygiene practices and production standards, including HACCP and SOPs.
