Subsidence Claims Specialist

Adjusting Appointments Limited is seeking an experienced Subsidence Claims Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Subsidence Team, you will provide technical building claims solutions and support to our Surveyors and Claims Management Team.
Main Responsibilities:- Communicate with customers, contractors, and insurer clients to resolve subsidence claims.
- Manage third-party companies to achieve vegetation removal and drain repairs.
- Update and create building repair scopes using our in-house schedule of rates.
- Assess contractor estimates and negotiate cash settlements for repairs.
- Manage panel contractors, control repair schedules, and costs.
- Settle claims under delegated authority.
- Previous subsidence/buildings insurance claims experience or extensive trade experience (5+ years) or be a graduate building surveyor.
- Demonstrate great communication and organization skills.
- Ability to demonstrate a high standard of customer service.
- Computer literate, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced target-driven environment.
- Positive attitude and be a flexible, self-motivated team player.
- Attention to detail and ability to assess and resolve problems and find solutions.
- Remote working opportunity.
