About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Python Developer to join our team at Source Technology. As a Senior Python Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining enterprise-level systems using Python in a financial services context.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable Python code for enterprise systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Work closely with front office users to understand business needs and develop solutions
  • Contribute to the development of cloud-based technology platforms
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in building enterprise systems in Python with a high level of Python fluency
  • Strong understanding of core Python concepts and data structures
  • Experience with SQL and database management
  • Knowledge of Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, and other relevant libraries
  • Cloud experience and familiarity with cloud-based platforms
  • Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and clean code practices
  • Front office experience and understanding of financial services
