Key Responsibilities:
As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious, home-cooked meals tailored to the diverse dietary requirements of our residents. You will utilize our menu planning system, allowing residents to select their meals in advance, which streamlines the preparation process. Our residents appreciate the warmth of home-cooked meals and the communal experience of dining together.
Qualifications and Skills:
This position is ideal for a culinary professional eager to demonstrate their skills in a friendly and homely setting, positively impacting the health and well-being of our residents. Candidates should possess prior experience in food preparation and service, along with a relevant food safety qualification, such as the REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate. The ability to collaborate effectively within a team and provide excellent customer service is essential.
