About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team at Howden, a leading insurance group with a global presence. As a key member of our agile team, you will play a crucial role in developing innovative solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable, high-performing, and user-friendly software solutions using Microsoft Azure, Blazor, and C#.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver our roadmap and contribute to the development of our marketing websites and blogs.
  • Participate in agile sessions, working closely with your team to identify and prioritize tasks, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technological advancements and best practices in software development, and apply this knowledge to improve our software solutions.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and C# programming languages.
  • Experience with Blazor, Azure, and static site generation.
  • Knowledge of headless content management systems and Umbraco.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Test-driven Development and a strong commitment to high-quality, maintainable, and easy-to-understand code.
