Key Responsibilities

  1. Supervise and lead a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
  2. Oversee shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, and implementing measures to reduce errors.
  3. Develop and maintain efficient business processes to streamline warehouse operations, including inventory management and transportation coordination.
  4. Collaborate with third-party logistics providers to ensure seamless logistics operations.
  5. Monitor inventory levels and manage stock control effectively to minimize stockouts and overstocking.
  6. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse performance and efficiency.
  7. Maintain a strong focus on supply chain management practices, including transportation management systems and inventory control.
  8. Familiarity with inventory management systems, such as AS400, is highly desirable.

Requirements

  1. Strong background in warehouse management and logistics, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  2. Proficiency in overseeing shipping, receiving, and inventory control processes, with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
  3. Excellent supervisory skills to lead and motivate a team effectively.
  4. Sound knowledge of transportation management systems and inventory control practices.
  5. Ability to implement and drive continuous improvement strategies to enhance warehouse performance.
  6. Understanding of supply chain principles and best practices, including transportation management and inventory control.
