Children's Home Assistant Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Manager to join our Children's Residential Service in Rochdale. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the high-quality care and support of children and young people in our care.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in working with children and young people, preferably in a residential care setting. You will be responsible for monitoring, reviewing, and auditing systems in the home to ensure compliance with Ofsted and operating within the framework of the Children Act, Working Together to Safeguard 2023, and the Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards 2015.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise workers on a regular basis and undertake annual Delve/Appraisals
- Deputise in the absence of the Registered Manager
- Monitor, review, and audit systems in the home to ensure compliance with Ofsted
- Operate within the framework of the Children Act, Working Together to Safeguard 2023, and the Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards 2015
- Over 21 years of age
- At least 2 years' experience working with Children and Young People
- Qualified to NVQ/Diploma Level 3 Working with Children and Young People or equivalent
- Preferably hold a Diploma Level 4 or above

Casual User Car Allowance is payable. Appointment to this post is subject to an enhanced DBS including a barred list check child workforce.
