About the Role
This is a part-time, permanent position working a variety of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays. As a Domestic Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our hospital sites, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Main Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize patient rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and common areas to the highest standards.
  • Follow infection control protocols to prevent cross-contamination and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Dispose of waste safely and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
  • Restock cleaning supplies and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to be physically fit, able to perform tasks requiring lifting, standing, and moving for extended periods. You should have high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, with keen attention to detail and strong teamwork skills. Basic literacy and numeracy skills are also required to follow instructions and complete necessary documentation.
