Development Director

ArtWell, a renowned youth arts organization, seeks a seasoned Development Director to drive resource development and strategic partnerships. With a strong track record in grants management, event planning, and donor engagement, this role will play a pivotal part in advancing ArtWell's mission to empower youth through arts education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive resource development strategy, including grants, events, and individual giving.
  • Manage relationships with foundation, corporate, community, and government entities to secure funding and partnerships.
  • Collaborate with program staff to write and submit grant proposals, reports, and other fundraising materials.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of ArtWell's biennial awards, festival, 5K run/walk, and holiday party.
  • Work closely with the Communications Director to develop and implement online giving initiatives and multi-channel solicitation strategies.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in development, with a proven track record in grants management and donor engagement.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Google Drive, and Salesforce, with experience in data collection and research.
