About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Executive to join our team at PBR Executive Search Limited. As an Audit Executive, you will play a key role in supporting the management and delivery of assignments, preparing client deliverables, and building relationships with clients and their teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the management and delivery of assignments, ensuring timely and high-quality results.
  • Prepare client deliverables, including audit findings reports, and present them to clients in a clear and concise manner.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and their teams, acting as an ambassador for the business.
  • Plan assignments, including budgeting and the use of analytical review, to ensure efficient and effective delivery.
  • Attend stock takes and prepare accounts, including those under FRS102 and IFRS.
  • Identify, research, and help resolve technical issues that may arise, ensuring that clients receive accurate and reliable information.
  • Initiate and work with other service lines across the business to the benefit of the client, referring opportunities where relevant and minimizing risk.
  • Assist and develop more junior members of the team, providing guidance and support to help them grow and develop in their roles.
  • Represent the firm and its interests in dealings with clients and other professionals, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
  • Attend training and development opportunities to further develop and maintain technical skills, and work towards a professional qualification if not already attained.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • 2 years' experience of working in audit, ideally in practice.
  • Working towards ACCA, ACA, or Level 4 AAT.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Exposure to owner-managed businesses, with a strong understanding of their needs and challenges.
  • Drive and resilience to deliver high levels of customer service, even in challenging situations.
  • A full UK driving license, as you will be required to travel regularly across the region and occasionally further afield.
