Job Overview

Concept Resources is seeking a dedicated **Grounds Maintenance Seasonal Worker** to join our team. This role involves a variety of outdoor tasks focused on maintaining the aesthetics and cleanliness of public spaces.


Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Performing horticultural and street cleaning tasks under the guidance of experienced supervisors.
  • Operating grounds maintenance equipment, including ride-on mowers, strimmers, and blowers.
  • Assisting with planting and maintaining flower beds, shrubs, and rose gardens, including weeding and general upkeep.
  • Supporting arboricultural activities, such as managing timber and maintaining a tidy work area.
  • Engaging in hard landscaping tasks, which may involve lifting materials and general labor duties.
  • Conducting litter collection and managing fly-tipping incidents.
  • Ensuring footpaths are edged and the site is tidy upon completion of tasks.
  • Adhering to all safety protocols and risk assessments to ensure personal and public safety.
  • Responding to basic inquiries from the public while on-site and directing complex queries to the appropriate team leader.
  • Maintaining tools and equipment in optimal condition and reporting any issues to management.
  • Complying with all relevant policies and procedures, particularly those related to health and safety.
  • Working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

  • The right to work.
  • Two years of written references.
  • A clean driving license.
