About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Shareholder Assets team as the Head of Shareholder Assets. This is a key role within our Insurance, Pensions and Investments (IP&I) division, reporting directly to the Chief Investment Officer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and implement the Shareholder Investment strategy across liquid and illiquid assets, ensuring the maximization of shareholder value.
  • Lead a team of 30 colleagues, ensuring the right people with the right skills are in place to deliver the strategy.
  • Engage with the broader IP&I business and functions to ensure delivery of investment strategy and annuity strategy.
  • Build trust and engagement with internal and external business partners to facilitate transactions and improve processes and capabilities.
  • Ensure adherence to LBG's stated ESG policies and integrate these into investment decision-making.
Requirements
  • Confirmed experience of leading teams in an Investment, Actuarial or Finance area, ideally with annuity investment experience.
  • Experience of leading outsourced investment arrangements.
  • Ability to optimally communicate verbally and in writing to engage a variety of partners, up to board level.
