Exciting Opportunity for a Semi-Senior Accountant

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to work with a highly reputable top 100 specialist accountancy practice based in the UK. TPF Recruitment is representing a successful and growing firm who are looking for a Semi-Senior Accountant to join their team as a key addition to their team.

The practice offers a relaxed working environment and there's lots of support on offer to progress in your studies and career. You will be working with a range of key clients within the firm and progressing in your career.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
  • Assisting with tax computations and VAT returns
  • Helping manage a portfolio of clients ensuring deadlines are met and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction
Requirements
  • Suitable applicants for this Semi-Senior Accountant position will be any of AAT, ACA, ACCA qualified / part qualified or qualified by experience with a career background in accountancy practice working with small / medium / large independent firm background and/or Top 50/Mid or Top Tier firm experience
  • You will be likely operating around the Accounts Assistant Accounts Semi-Senior level or similar delivering accounts and wider ranging accountancy practice services to a client base of sole traders, partnerships, and limited company clients across a wide spectrum of industries and turnover levels

You will be ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 3 years experience within practice. You will have worked as Semi-Senior or Senior accountant within practice. Experience of Iris and cloud software such as Xero/ Quickbooks would be advantageous
