Procurement and Scheduling
As a key member of the Humres team, you will be responsible for the procurement and scheduling of products, materials, plant, and equipment. This will involve ensuring that purchases offer the best value for the company, while also monitoring and reporting on price increases and updating internal spreadsheets. You will also be responsible for tracking orders and proactively addressing any failed or late deliveries, as well as arranging the return of non-conforming products. Additionally, you will maintain and develop the supply chain, identify new products, and process purchase ledger records.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a proven track record in best-value procurement, ensuring timely on-time delivery in line with project programs and budget. You will also need to have excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills to optimize pricing and commercial terms. Furthermore, you will need to review the credentials of potential new suppliers and ensure that suppliers are compliant. You will also need to be able to forward plan for multiple site projects and prioritize workload across long-lead and real-time demands. Finally, you will need to identify potential supply problems and solutions, and have excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with colleagues and suppliers.
